This Privacy Policy explains how Fingees LLC ("Fingees", "we", "us", or "I") handles information in connection with the game Seconds Until You Die and the Seconds Until You Die website at secondsuntilyoudie.com (together, the "Game"). By playing the Game or using the website, you agree to this policy.

Short version

Seconds Until You Die is a game made by a very small independent studio. I collect only what I need to run an account system and keep the Game working, I do not sell your personal information, and I do not run ads. I provide the Game "as is" and, to the fullest extent allowed by law, I accept no liability or responsibility arising from your use of it.

Information I collect

Account information. The Game uses an email-and-password account system so you can sign in and save your progress. When you create an account, I collect your email address and a securely stored password credential. I do not offer "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple", and I do not collect your name, phone number, or precise location.

Support messages. If you email me, I will see whatever you choose to include in that message.

Analytics and diagnostics

The Game uses Google Firebase for its account system and backend, and for the following data collection:

• Firebase Authentication — stores your email and login credential so you can sign in and save progress.
• Firebase Analytics — standard, largely aggregated usage and device data (such as app events, session length, device model, and general region) that helps me understand how the Game is used.
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash and error reports, including device and diagnostic information, so I can fix problems.

This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. I do not use advertising or ad networks in the Game.

Other third parties

Some information is also handled by platforms I do not control, under their own privacy policies:

• App stores and platforms (such as the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Steam) — for downloading, purchasing, and updating the Game.
• Online multiplayer — for hosting multiplayer sessions, which may involve an IP address and basic technical/device information.
• Discord — our community server, operated by Discord under its own privacy policy, if you choose to join it.

Please review those providers' privacy policies directly to understand your rights.

Children

The Game is not directed at children under the age required by your local law for online services, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact me and I will take reasonable steps to address it.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your account and associated email by using this account deletion form or emailing me directly at hello@fingees.co, and you can stop further collection by uninstalling the Game. Where applicable law gives you rights over your personal information (such as access, correction, or deletion), you may exercise them by contacting me, and I will make reasonable efforts to respond.

No responsibility

The Game and website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim all warranties and accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of the Game, the website, or any third-party service, including any data handled by those third parties.

Governing law

Fingees LLC is organized in New York, United States. This policy and any dispute relating to it are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
